OUR STORY
How it began….
I’m Monique and together with my partner Jay and our two fury companions. Mickey and Rielly, we set out on a journey to transform our 150-year -old farmhouse onto a charming B&B.
When we first set out on this adventure, we were eager to uncover the rich history of our beloved home. So we reached out to the local community on social media, hoping to gather some stories and insights. What we received in return was beyond what we had imagined.
A lovely couple shared a stack of deeds that belonged to their grandparents, who once had called this place home. Dating back to 1870, these documents unveiled fascinating tales about the property, including whispers of its past as a brothel, thanks to its proximity to the old railway trail. Talk about a hidden history.
As we dove into the renovations and preparations for the B&B, we realized that our vision was evolving. By spring 2025 we’re excited to announce new and amazing experiences, including yurt stays, dinners and elopements in our beautiful little glass house.
This journey has ignited a passion within us that never really feels like work. We absolutely love hosting and getting to know the incredible guests who come to stay. The vibe here is fantastic, with many repeat visitors and unforgettable experiences. We feel truly blessed.
